Activity Description
Soluciones Antropométricas is a company that specializes in measuring human body parameters providing, through Anthropometry, industrial solutions where corporal measurements are crucial for either the activity itself or the final product: e.g. textile, footwear, automotive or furniture industries, plastic arts (e.g. architecture, sculpture, ceramics...), etc.
Products and Services
Soluciones Antropométricas focuses on the use of innovative techniques of anthropometrical measurement, upon which sector-specific solutions may also be developed:
- The use of statistical parameters in addition to more commonly used factors, such as previous experience and market trends, in order to decide more accurate production targets:
- Textile product design (e.g. corporate clothing)
- Footwear product design
- Ergonomic products and working-space solutions that improve safety, usability, efficiency and health aspects:
- Tool and simple machine design (e.g. the Anthropometric Key®)
- Furniture, working space ergonomics and occupational hazard prevention
- Structural and functional ergonomics consulting, concept and product validation
- Object design and functional user-suitability analysis (e.g. industrial machinery, truck cabs, automotive industry, furniture, gyms, etc)

eLearning Platform for SME
in the Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development" was presented by Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. The consortium is composed by members of the smE-MPOWER network, EURESEARCH, the Higher Education School of Western Switzerland, Itycom, Ability Europe, SalsaDev and the Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin. The tender also counts with an advisory group that includes relevant actors, such as the Nokia-Siemens Netwroks and Cegos
A success story
The final results of the 2009 CEEI/BIC Asturias project show an impressive success story:
- Ten companies have entered consortia that have presented a total of 13 project proposals
- One of the proposals was approved and is already underway (Research for the Benefit of SMEs)
- Five more projects were approved for financing and are now in negotiation (four within the Research for the Benefit of SMEs program and one EUROSTARS)
- Three projects exceded the minimum score required for financing
- One project reached the final evaluation in their call, reached by only two candidates

IAM-INNOVIA Project
I+DEX has collaborated with DEX Hungary in the preparation of the proposal "Intellectual Assets Management for Innovative Network oriented Entrepreneurs" -IAM INNOVIA.
The project was presented to the FP7-SCIENCE-IN-SOCIETY-2010-1 call by a consortium of partners from 11 countries that included the European Economic Interest Grouping DEX New Europe.
