El Caleyo is an SME highly specialised in the field of concrete (both fresh concrete and all types of prefabricated elements for public and civil engineering works). With over thirty years of experience, El Caleyo is the recognised leader in the concrete and prefabricated concrete elements manufacturing market.
Products and Services
El Caleyo's business activity is based on the production and design of all types of pre-fabricate concrete elements, as well as the making of special parts, according to client requests. The company's main business areas are:

production of all types of concrete with different formulations, depending on the destination environment.
- piping line - all types of solid and reinforced concrete piping, such as jacking pipes and drainage accessories such as manholes, rods, reels, cones, catchpits, etc.
- structure line - pre-stressed beams, pillars, pre-slabs and enclosure panels.
- small pre-fabrication line - coving, blocks, curbstones, paving blocks, latticing, etc.
- special parts line - anti-noise screens, reinforced concrete frames and all types of parts made on request.

eLearning Platform for SME
in the Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development" was presented by Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. The consortium is composed by members of the smE-MPOWER network, EURESEARCH, the Higher Education School of Western Switzerland, Itycom, Ability Europe, SalsaDev and the Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin. The tender also counts with an advisory group that includes relevant actors, such as the Nokia-Siemens Netwroks and Cegos
A success story
The final results of the 2009 CEEI/BIC Asturias project show an impressive success story:
- Ten companies have entered consortia that have presented a total of 13 project proposals
- One of the proposals was approved and is already underway (Research for the Benefit of SMEs)
- Five more projects were approved for financing and are now in negotiation (four within the Research for the Benefit of SMEs program and one EUROSTARS)
- Three projects exceded the minimum score required for financing
- One project reached the final evaluation in their call, reached by only two candidates

IAM-INNOVIA Project
I+DEX has collaborated with DEX Hungary in the preparation of the proposal "Intellectual Assets Management for Innovative Network oriented Entrepreneurs" -IAM INNOVIA.
The project was presented to the FP7-SCIENCE-IN-SOCIETY-2010-1 call by a consortium of partners from 11 countries that included the European Economic Interest Grouping DEX New Europe.
