About Us
Since its creation in 2007, I+DEX has worked to design the basis for a comprehensive, internationalisation coaching service for the local SMEs in Asturias (NW Spain).
Today, we have extended our geographical influence area to Galicia and we function as a catalyst between our two main assets:
- an extensive network of collaborating European Enterprises, Sectorial Associations, Universities and RTD Centers
- our client portfolio: interesting in numbers, quality and variety of know how and proprietary technologies
Our task is to facilitate the participation of SMEs from North-Western Spain in international collaborative RTD projects.
Our services include: company assessment, strategic planning, partner and project search, project definition, consortium participation assistance, project writing and coordination, financing sources and other made-to-fit solutions
Our efforts have, so far, crystallized in various FP7 projects, as well as additional proposals -some of them pending evaluation even now

DEX Ltd (Desarrollo de Estrategias Exteriores, S.A.) is an International Consulting Agency specialised in providing services to private companies and the public sector in the fields of European Union Affairs, Strategic Planning, Local Economic Development, Foreign Markets & International Relations.
One of the characteristic aspects of DEX is a philosophy and conscious strategy of activity diversification. Beyond the simple entrepreneurial project, DEX aims to be a permanent generator of innovative ideas and initiatives. Among the projects being developed by DEX, we could mention the creation of e-government systems, the development of business centres, the introduction of quality plans, the development of multicultural projects, the innovation on training methodologies or the prevention and pacification projects in conflict areas.
DEX New Europe
DEX leads the European Economic Interest Grouping DEX New Europe. Integrated by 8 members from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and UK, the EEIG has 11 offices, around 80 experts and over 50 collaborators across Europe.

eLearning Platform for SME
in the Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development" was presented by Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. The consortium is composed by members of the smE-MPOWER network, EURESEARCH, the Higher Education School of Western Switzerland, Itycom, Ability Europe, SalsaDev and the Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin. The tender also counts with an advisory group that includes relevant actors, such as the Nokia-Siemens Netwroks and Cegos
A success story
The final results of the 2009 CEEI/BIC Asturias project show an impressive success story:
- Ten companies have entered consortia that have presented a total of 13 project proposals
- One of the proposals was approved and is already underway (Research for the Benefit of SMEs)
- Five more projects were approved for financing and are now in negotiation (four within the Research for the Benefit of SMEs program and one EUROSTARS)
- Three projects exceded the minimum score required for financing
- One project reached the final evaluation in their call, reached by only two candidates

IAM-INNOVIA Project
I+DEX has collaborated with DEX Hungary in the preparation of the proposal "Intellectual Assets Management for Innovative Network oriented Entrepreneurs" -IAM INNOVIA.
The project was presented to the FP7-SCIENCE-IN-SOCIETY-2010-1 call by a consortium of partners from 11 countries that included the European Economic Interest Grouping DEX New Europe.
